Peter Vaillant
London
Peter Vaillant is recognised as an abstract art phenomenon, obtaining notoriety through commissions, acquirement and is highly favourably reviewed. While the British art establishment remains resistant to abstract art, Peter's work has a modernism to it's voice, distinguishing him from his peers with its intrepid, playful tone. Repeatedly capturing moments throughout the year, Peter works on location creating a diary of colour on which to base his epic landscape and city vistas. With fans including Saatchi Gallery CEO Nigel Hurst, Turner Prize nominee Ian Davenport and Sir David Hockney, Peter's work can be found in numerous private and public collections. Notable examples include a BBC commission for Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Pageant and Peter's original work ‘Praise’ which hangs alongside Tracey Emin and Dame Elisabeth Frink as part of the permanent collection at Liverpool Cathedral. Striving to add elements of expressionism to uncharted waters, Peter believes he has only scratched the surface of his potential.
